Where It Started

Southern Honey Care was born from something deeply personal.

Growing up, our founder dealt with sensitive skin and eczema, and that shaped the way she saw herself for a long time. Her skin was often rough, irritated, and uneven, and when her eczema would heal, it could leave behind darker patches that made her feel deeply insecure. There were moments when people misunderstood what was happening with her skin, and those experiences made her even more aware of how visible her struggles felt. Over time, those moments affected her confidence and the way she viewed her own beauty. What started as frustration with her skin eventually became part of the reason Southern Honey Care exists today.

The Idea That Grew

What started small became something much bigger.

Around 2019 or 2020, the idea of creating affordable body care products sparked something. The vision started with warm, comforting scent ideas like cookie butter or apple pie. Over time, that idea grew into something bigger. Experimentation with body butter, and later body cream, turned what began as curiosity into years of learning, testing, failing, and trying again.

Two and a Half Years of Learning

The journey was not perfect, but the work continued.

Some early products were nowhere near the standard Southern Honey Care holds today. There were mistakes, batches that did not come out right, and a lot of time spent figuring out texture, consistency, and what would actually feel good on the skin. But the work continued. For about two and a half years, the formula was refined off and on, learning through experience and continuing to improve until Southern Honey Care officially launched in 2023.

Meeting the People

Connecting with customers changed everything.

As the brand began to grow, one of the most meaningful parts of the journey was attending vendor events across Mississippi. Those events gave the opportunity to meet people face to face, hear their stories, let them try the products in person, and connect on a deeper level. Watching people’s expressions when they feel the texture of the products for the first time and realize how good it feels on their skin, that never gets old. Hearing customers share that the products helped their eczema, helped with dryness, helped them feel beautiful, or simply made them feel cared for. Those moments have meant everything to this brand.

What Southern Honey Care Became

More than a product, it became a source of comfort, trust, and community.

Southern Honey Care became about more than making a product and selling it. It became about building trust, creating comfort, and reminding people that they deserve to feel good in their skin. It became about creating body care that feels intentional, effective, and beautiful without being watered down. The goal was always to give people access to products that feel luxurious and special while still being within reach for the everyday person.

The Heart of It All

High quality ingredients. Maximum results. Luxury made simple.

That has always been the heart of Southern Honey Care. The vision is to create an at-home spa experience that helps people slow down, care for themselves, and feel beautiful in their skin; not just when life is perfect, but in the middle of real life.

Today, Southern Honey Care continues to grow with that same purpose. The vision is still rooted in care, quality, and community. The goal is for this brand to remain accessible, but never ordinary, never mass-produced, and never stripped of what makes it special. Southern Honey Care is built for people who want body care that feels intentional, elevated, and worth coming back to.
